Bachelor of Arts (B.A, Pass Course)

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) is an undergraduate programme in the humanities. It offers various subjects such as History, Political Science, Geography, Hindi Literature, English Literature, Sociology and Public Administration.
After completion, graduates may pursue careers in the civil services, journalism, content writing, teaching, or related fields. They may also opt for higher studies such as M.A., MBA, or LLB.

Eligibility : Candidates must have passed the 10+ 2 examination in any discipline with at least 45% aggregate marks from the Rajasthan Board, CBSE, or any other recognised equivalent board.

Master of Arts (M.A Geography)

"Geography is the subject which holds the key to our future."

M.A. in Geography is a postgraduate program that includes a comprehen­sive and in depth study of the physical features of the earth and deals with including physical, regional, cultural and economic aspects through an advanced academic exploration. The syllabus for the courses is as prescribed by the University of Rajasthan. This would enable the students to face with confidence, all competitive exams such as CSIR-UGC NET, SET, JRF, UPSC etc. The course equips graduates with the expertise to pursue careers in academic jobs such as Educator, demographer, research analyst, geographic information system analyst, cartographer, Surveyor and various other fields.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAMME

• To impart knowledge about historical, economical, cultural, social, physical characteristics of regions and understand environmental systems such as climate and biogeography.
• The department has an excellent array of equipment's for research/project works. Besides association with both UG and PG teaching, the faculty members have produced outstanding research publications.
