Extra-Curricular Activities

Extracurricular activities play an important role in all round development of students. Keeping this thing in view college promotes various cultural activities. In this series of the activities we not only organized the academic activities like Orientation Programme, Inter College dabate competition, Hindi Diwas, Inter Class Quiz, Model and poster competition, Annual Prize dIstribution ceremony but also celebrated Janmashtami, Deepotsav and Christmas as well. We try to inculcate the spirit of humanity among the students through organizing various social activities like Swachchta Abhiyaan, Plantation Programmes, Participation in Blood Donation Camp, World AIDS Day, School Adoption Programme, Interaction with Society via Nukkad Natak Performance and Environment Awareness Programme. The Sportsmanship in the students is being developed through Sports activities. In our college campus special efforts are made to promote student-teacher interaction. Counseling Service has been set up to assist students in their initial adjustment, as well as in any difficulties, they may have during their stay at the Institution.


ORIENTATION DAY

The academic session of the college commenced on July 25, 2016 for which two days orientation programme were organized on July 22 &23, 2016 for the First Year Students. The first day of the programme initiated with the inaugural function of the new academic session and welcome ceremony of new students. Shri Vinod Lodha, Prof. K.B.Sharma and Shri Rajendra Bhanawat (Retird. IAS) were the chief guests of the inaugural program. To acquaint them with the ethos of the college and facilitate their smooth transition from school to Under Graduate studies a Motivational Lecture was delivered by the Renowned IAS Officer Shri Rajendra Bhanawat. Sessions like Beyond Curriculum and Goal Setting, department-wise presentations on curriculum, course structure, college regulations, extra-curricular activities, community service initiatives etc. made the two day orientation program an ideal introductory session for the freshers.          

         


DISTRICT LEVEL INTER COLLEGE DEBATE COMPETITION

The second Inter College Debate Competition on “Is the Freedom to Express One’s views being misused on the Social Media” was organized on 20 December, 2016. Students from 14 renowned colleges of Jaipur came in the campus of the college to take part with enthusiasm in spite of its remote locality. The winners were felicitated with the cash prizes, mementos and certificates.
         

         


UDISHA, ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST

Udisha is the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of the college held every year. Udisha-17 celebrated on 11 February. The Annual function was graced with the presence of Chief Guests Shri Kailash Verma (Bagru Constituency MP), Shri Gurusharan Rao (Additional DCP, Jaipur) , the College Convener Shri Vinod Lodha, the Director Shri K.B. Sharma. It is one of the most eagerly awaited event of the college. Dedicated to the celebration of creativity, it is a stimulating event brimming with youthful dynamism. Udisha is known for bringing together the best student talent in fields of music, dance, dramatics, and other areas of art and culture. The core part of the function was prize distribution ceremony of meritorious students in different fields.
         

         

         


HINDI DIWAS

To memorialize the day India adopted Hindi as an official language by the Constituent Assembly, an event "Hindi Diwas" was celebrated on 14 September. A debate competition on “D;k orZeku es fgUnh “k"kk dk iz;ksx vl{kerk dk izrhd curk tk jgk gS” was organized by the Department of Arts to promote the use of Hindi language and to know the significance of Hindi among students. At the end of event, students were given prizes for their performance.



OUR MASTER MINDS

An inter class quiz competition “OUR MASTER MINDS” was organized on 14 October, 2016 at college level by the Department of Science. It was open for students of any streams. The winners were selected through different rounds like selection, buzzer, merry – go- round, and Visual rounds. Many students participated in the competition with enthusiasm.


CHITRA PRAKRITI

The Department of Science conducted on the spot poster making competition with theme “See a Dream to Green the Nature” on the occasion of World Animals Day on 4th October, 2016. The objective behind this competition was to make students aware and change their minds to bring change in the environment. Prizes and certificates were also given to the students for their commendable performance.


AD-MAD SHOW

On October 5, 2016 AD-MAD show was organized to develop the presentation and innovative skills in students. Students were felicitated with prizes.
         


THE YOUNG SPRINGS- 2016

The Academic Committee also conducted the annual intra college Model Making & Poster Making Competition “Young Springs- 2016” on December 20,2016. The performances of participants of both the competitions were judged by invited judges from outside the college. It was a competitive presentation of working and non-working models and posters. This kind of event provides a sound forum to the students to present their innovations, creativities, skill and practical knowledge of their curricular study. The students learn to express themselves to the audience of intellectuals. Winners were boosted up with the prizes and certificates for their innovations.
